Marduk
Description
Boreal Marduk is one of our stiffest performance shoes, ideal for climbers looking for a bit more support on big routes or small holds. A subtle downturned last shape combined with our ultra sticky Zenith™ rubber will keep you glued on to the tiniest of edges.
The upper is constructed from high quality split leather with padded mesh tongue for comfort, and features a cotton lining for reduced stretch. A double width top strap allows the shoe to be cranked up tight without causing any pressure points. This combines with our V2 Rand™, a 2-part rand that tensions a much larger area of the shoe, to provide the ultimate heel fit.
The semi-asymmetric and slight down curved last shape coupled with the stiff midsole ensure that micro edges can be used with confidence. Finally, super sticky Zenith™ rubber offers superior friction wherever you climb.

Boreal Marduk is a great mid range performance shoe. It sit neatly in the new range of Boreal shoes and compares well with other shoes in the mid performance range such as the Scarpa Vapour. The price range is good and the quality is great. The colour is the calmest of the new range and I particularly liked the support from the stiffened sole, the heel and the comfort of the split leather heel.
