(In Sweden) you get 2 Camp Photon Lock for the price of a single DMM Shadow. Shadow is a good carbiner but the Photon is far better... I have used the Shadow for almost 10 years. Recently, I replacd tem by the Photons.

If you wish to scale weight and doesnt climb with gloves or twin ropes - They are good. However, they aren't my first choice! If you seek a full size and lightweight carabiner - Look at Camp Photon wire.

Major disappointment!

I bought 6 of these as a replacement for my DMM Shadows. I quickly returned them after a review at home. Instead of the Wall Micros, I bought a bunch of the Camp Photon lock. Oh my! Camp Photon lock is the best D-screw I have ever used! And to add insult injury (for Mammut), The Photons were around 3 euros cheaper, 9 grams lighter and had a better handling and finish than the Mammut carabiners...

I bought 6 of theese as a replace for my DMM Shadows. When I recieved them, I was struck by dissapointment. The weight was either 50 or 51 grams (please note that my scale is up to date). The overall feel and handling was poor. I bought Camp Photon Lock instead!
