Garra Tiger Climbing Shoe
4.02

Great value shoes

Pros
Comfy
Fits my feet like a glove (2,5 sizes under)
Cheap
Nice colors too
Nice secure edging, quite stiff but good for bouldering too
Cons
It losses its downturn shape quite quickly (~2 months for me) with intensive use
Some friends of mine with smaller feet found them umcomfortable (depends on feet)
Familiarity
I’ve used it a ton

Bought these pés-de-gato (cats feet (rock shoes)) two years ago and have used them almost all that time,

The first thing to mention is they were my first climbing shoes, I think they are the perfect ones for beginners, cheap (under 50€ here (portugal)) and they really last a long time, mostly I do edging and overhanging climbs and the rubber at the tips has worn away significantly however you can still get use out of them as pretty much all the rest of the shoe is as good as in the beginning apart from being softer and way less down turned, it's just under flat.

The lacing system works great to tighten up the shoe in the mid section, I recommend getting as small a number you can manage if you're sports climbing, bouldering or pretty much anything other than long or multi pitch routes as the toes and heel (especially the heel) need to fit snug via the elasticity of the shoe.

I wear them so tight sometimes o forget to use the Velcro.
